The Wrist Check Pod crew teamed up with Chronoswiss for their first ever Bungalow Meet Up. What is the Bungalow might you ask? A private watch chat for members of the WCP audience and supporters.
Held at the downtown NYC hot spot called Short Stories on Bowery, our friend Rocco Giudice representing Chronoswiss arrived with some amazing pieces to introduce to our community of collectors. Check out photos below.
Chronoswiss, founded in 1983 by Gerd-Rüdiger Lang who began as a watchmaker at Heuer, was an early leader in the post-quartz mechanical renaissance.
Presently, Chronoswiss manufactures approximately 1,300 to 1,500 timepieces annually, showcasing favored models adorned with guilloche and enamel dials, retrograde and regulateur displays, and even tourbillons. The latest additions to their collection incorporate cutting-edge materials and embrace non-traditional designs, all while preserving traditional watchmaking methods.
Enthusiasts of the brand have the opportunity to explore the Chronoswiss atelier in Lucerne, Switzerland, where meticulous handcrafted processes such as enameling, skeletonizing, and guilloche take place.
We'd like to send a special thank you to all those who attend , to Chronoswiss, and to Short Stories for hosting. If you are interested in attending events like this in the future please sign log in, make an account, and sign up for our mailing list. Stay tuned for another special event coming soon!
